StC Students Place 2nd in 2014 QUT Film Competition

On Friday evening 16 May a group of Year 12 Film, Television & New Media students were awarded second place for their documentary production entry in the 2014 QUT Film Competition.

The group, consisting of students Nic Brown, Daniel Cabrera, Katie Iliffe, Eilish Massie, Matthew Meintjes, Jordan Teichmann and Lauren Shaw, created a 4 minute documentary on the theme, Environmental Action in Our Region. They had two weeks to complete the project, and their second place is a testament to not only their film production skills, but also their ability to work as a team under pressure.
